San Pedro del Pinatar is a small town and municipality in the autonomous community and province of Murcia, southeastern Spain. The municipality is situated at the northern end of Murcia's Mediterranean coastline, the Costa Cálida, and borders with the province of Alicante
Why San Pedro del Pinatar?
San Pedro is a small town at the north of Murcia. which has the advantage that is located between the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea. It also has a natural park where the salt lakes are located. Apart from being a small village, it is a quite touristy place since it is close to three nuclei of Murcia: Torrevieja, Cartagena and Murcia.

San Pedro del Pinatar has two totally different climates. One of them is the coastal climate since it has the Mediterranean sea on one side and the lesser sea on the other. The other part is the natural park, which has a forest. It is a place with a very good atmosphere especially in summer but if you are looking for tranquility you can enjoy the natural park and its clean breeze.
What do people love about it?
San Pedro del Pinatar, in Murcia, is a pleasant and quiet town, with a large number of sunny days throughout the year. Enjoy some privileged beaches, with warm and calm waters, it is December and strolling on the sand is a sensation and a luxury available to few and more at this time of year
And... what do people NOT love about it?
Because it is a very windy place, in the Playas there can sometimes be algae.

It is located between two seas, and that is already something unique because you have two beaches to choose from and walk. It also has a natural park where you can enjoy a forest with pine trees and the salt flats and sandbanks that are in that same natural park.
